WhatsApp is a favorite messaging application with many utilities, one of which is the function to post status on WhatsApp. The following article will show you how to post a status on WhatsApp or how to delete an old status to post a new one with just a few simple steps.
Step 1 of 2: post a status on WhatsApp on iPhone
Launch WhatsApp. On a green background, click the icon for the WhatsApp app, which resembles a white phone receiver inside of a white speech bubble. If you’re logged in, this will open the last tab of WhatsApp that you had open.
Follow the on-screen directions to log into WhatsApp if you aren’t already before continuing.

Toggle to the Status tab. It can be found in the screen’s bottom left corner.

If WhatsApp opens a chat session, first hit the “Back” button at the top-left corner of the screen, which is Image named Android7expandleft.png.

Go to the status list. To do so, click or tap the My Status header at the top of the page.

Go straight to the “Create a new status” step in this technique if you only want to add a status and don’t want to delete an existing one (or if there isn’t an existing status to delete).

Click Edit. It can be seen in the screen’s upper right corner.

Choose a status. Select the state you want to remove and tap it. A checkmark ought to show up to the left of it.
Tap each status that you want to remove if you have more than one.

Press Delete. Once you’ve chosen a status, this choice will show up in the bottom right corner of the screen.

When prompted, select Delete 1 Status Update. It is a bottom-of-the-screen choice in red text.
The chosen status is then removed from the My Status list.
You will see the amount of statuses selected in this option (e.g., Delete 3 Status Updates) if you chose to delete more than one status.

Publish a new status. Then, snap a photo (or choose an already-existing photo) of whatever you want to use for your status by tapping the camera button to the right of the My Status header at the top of the screen.
By tapping the pencil symbol to the right of the My Status heading and entering your status message, you can create a text-only status.

Post a status update. In the bottom-right corner of the screen, tap the “Send” symbol Android7send.png.
For the following 24 hours, your status will be viewable to all of your WhatsApp contacts until it automatically vanishes.

Tap ⋯. It is located to the right of the heading “My status.” By doing this, a page listing your current status(es) will appear.
