Step 2: Tap and hold the name of the person or group you wish to unarchive, then move your finger to the left and select Unarchive. The message is returned to Chats as a result of this action.
You can also unarchive your talks through the WhatsApp settings. If you don’t recall which chats you archived, this can be useful.
Select Settings > Chats > Unarchive All Chats to do so. All archived talks are returned to the Chats window as a result of this action.
